The ultimate family bonding adventure with a comantic twist! This Saturday-Sunday weekend combines family camping, hiking, rock climbing, and wilderness skills with an optional parent date night. While kids enjoy supervised activities, parents can retreat to a private campsite for stargazing under Colorado skies. One parent.guardian required per family.

8:00 AM - Meet at Woodland Park, CO - family check-in and departure
8:45 AM - Arrive at camp - welcome and camp setup
9:15 AM - Camily camp craft skills
10:00 AM - Map and compass introduction
11:00 AM - Group navigation hike
12:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM - Individual Family navigation hike
3:30 PM - Free family time
4:30 PM - Dinner preparation together
6:00 PM - Parent date night begins (optional)

7:00 AM - Wake up (parents return from private site if applicable)
8:00 AM - Family reunion breakfast and camp pack up
9:00 AM - Rock climbing orientation and instruction
10:00 AM - Family climbing practice
11:30 AM - Lunch
12:00 PM - More climbing and personal challenges
3:30 PM - Pack up
4:15 PM - Depart for Woodland Park
5:00 PM - Arrival and pickup at Woodland Park, CO

Required - Camping
- Sleeping bas (rated 40-50°F minimum)
- Sleeping pads
- Personal toiletries
- Headlamp or falshlight with extra batteries
- Water bottles (2 liters per person)
- Sturdy hiking boots
- Camp shoes or sandals
Required - Clothing:
- 2 changes of clothes
- Layered clothing system - base, insulation, outer layers
- Rain jacket and rain pants
- Warm jacket for evenings
- Hat and gloves
- Extra socks (wool or synthetic)
Recommended:
- Camp pillow or inflatable pillow
- Book or journal
- Camera
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Insect repellent
- Personal medications
- Quick-dry towel
What NOT to Bring:
- Cotton clothing as primary layers
- Electronics, phones, or games (except cameras)
- Valuable jewelry
- More than one change of camp clothes

- Medical information forms for all participants
- Proof of guardianship if requested
- Transportation needs form (van space or caravan)
- Who Can Attend: Families with children ages 6+; at least one parent/guardian required per family
- Parent Date Night: Optional; families can stay together if preferred
- Kids' Supervision: Ages 6+ only for overnight kids' camp; staff maintain 1:6 ratio
- Group Size: Limited families to ensure quality experience
- Weather: Backup plans for all activities; appropriate gear essential
- Physical Requirements: Moderate activity suitable for families
- Experience Level: No prior outdoor experience necessary
- Altitude: Programs at 7,000-9,000 feet elevation
- Single Parent Families: Special pricing available; one adult can participate with children
- Transportation: Van space for 12 people or caravan option; coordinate in advance
- Emergency Contact: Parents at private site have walkie-talkies for emergencies
- Dietary Restrictions: Notify us in advance; we accommodate most dietary needs

Partial Refund (50%)
- 15+ days before program start: 50% refund of program fee
- Medical emergencies: 50% refund with doctor's note
No Refund
- 14 days or less before program start: No refund available
- No-shows: No refund available
Weather Cancellations by XP Adventure
- Severe weather: Program for the day may be cancelled if programming cannot be safely conducted
- Notification: Participants notified by 7:00 AM on program day
- Minor delays: Programs may start late or end early with alternative activities
- Activity changes: Activities may be modified or substituted based on weather conditions for safety
